J. Clark Bundren, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and licensed in both Oklahoma and Virginia. He received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine. Dr. Bundren participated in the Eastern Virginia Medical School Vital Initiation of Pregnancy Project where he delivered the first “test tube” baby in the United States. In addition Dr. Bundren completed a Fellowship in Human In-Vitro Fertilization. In 1983 he performed the first in-vitro fertilization conception in Oklahoma.
Dr. Bundren is responsible for resident and medical student education in the area of reproductive endocrinology and infertility for the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine-Tulsa. Dr. Bundren also services as a consultant to the Henry G. Bennett, Jr. Fertility Institute at Baptist Medical Center, Oklahoma City.
