Daniel Harwell, M.D., graduated from the University of Oklahoma and received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.
He completed a surgical internship at the University of Cincinnati and a neurosurgical residency at the University of Michigan.
Throughout his medical school career, Dr. Harwell was a devoted member of the community. He spent several evenings volunteering at Bedlam Clinic, a student-run and student-directed free clinic for the uninsured and underserved population of Tulsa.
Dr. Harwell was also an active member of student life, holding elected positions in several student organizations and student government.

Dr. Harwell is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, AO Spine (an International Community of Spine Surgeons) and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
